Three Things Thursday

1. A car will pick me up to go to the airport in less than 24 hours. I'm leaving for an almost two-week trip to Beijing, then onto South Korea. Have I packed yet?
2. I'm pretty sure that with each long run for marathon training, my brain becomes a little more unhinged. Case in point: I missed a meeting this week that was clearly on my calendar. Then, this morning, I met MacKenna for a short run before work, then forgot shoes to wear to work. I'm rocking flip flops from my car, which I had to wear to a meeting with the individual I accidentally stood up earlier this week. Embarrassment, I has it.

3. I've been to McDonald's three times in the past 24 hours. I got a coffee yesterday morning, then came to work and added splenda from our community kitchen. Except the splenda was stored with pepper. So I had to go back in the afternoon and get a replacement coffee. Then I had to buy a coffee this morning to photograph for the blog.  Please note my totally rocking solar-powered dancing snowman. And yes, I recognize the irony of this toy.

If you find yourself needing a buddy in Seoul I have a friend there right now.

Also, I got really scatterbrained when I was marathon training, too. I think it might go with the territory.

Have fun on your trip!!!

Thanks, I'll actually be in Busan, which is a tourist town that is apparently the Hawaii of Asia. So I have that to look forward to.

I forgot my shoes today too, so I'm at the office rocking a pair of green Toms with a pair of different-shade-of-green capris.

Have a lovely trip and take loads of photos!!

My dad once got a little overzealous with a pepper shaker at dinner. It was one of those cafeteria style places so we had like 3 plates each for salad, main course and dessert and he was sprinkling pepper on his food and ended up putting some on my jello. It was actually pretty good with the pepper :)

Perhaps you should have given the peppered coffee a chance.. You could have started the next big thing!!
