Awesome giveaway! I ran this race last year and would love to do it again.
For Independence Day, I am going on a run... then we don't have any plans. Just chilling and spending time together! :)
Last night we went to see the Navy Band Great Lakes and during one of the songs they played all the different songs for the Navy, Army, Air Force, Cost Guard, etc. and different veterans from the audience stood up for their song. I thought that was really cool!

I ran a 10k and I'm hitting the pool and hanging with friends for the Kenosha fireworks later! LOVE this race!

This race looks great! Today I am heading over to my sister's apt and hanging out with her all day :) Nothing beats sisterly bonding time. Happy 4th!

I liked Fort2base on twitter and facebook. I was in a local hometown race this spring where 4 young men from the military ran the entire 4 miles dressed in complete gear and full packs. When they crossed the finish line together, everyone stopped and applauded. It brought tears to my eyes.
On July 4th, I ran the Tinley Park 5k, had dinner with my parents, grandparents and nephew, then went and saw the TP fireworks.
