Three Things Thursday

1. My mom kept all sorts of hilarious treasures that we're discovering while moving. My favorite? Her budget from 1987. The entire budget fit on one page.
My mom told me I should try and stick within her limits. My cable bill is way more than $18, and I certainly spend more than $16.23 at a trip to JcPenney's.
2. The great move out continues tomorrow. I took the day off of work, so I'm going to help my parents move into the new home. Get excited for a tour of the new casa!

3. I think about this video often on my long runs. On my run last week, I was having a few cramps, and couldn't help but think, "How did my pancreas get a knife? Why is my pancreas stabbing my intestines?" And laughed out loud, thus looking like a crazy person on the trail in front of strangers.

Except instead of Rob Thomas, I can't stop singing this in my head ... and often aloud.

Do you sing a song in your head or serenade your fellow runners?

It's a trick MacKenna taught me and it totally helps take my mind off of running for a while. Very important when you're running for hours on end.

My current earworm is "50 Ways to Say Goodbye" by Train.

You're welcome.

Ha I love digging up old randoms...oh the memories! I swear that's why I sometimes hoard things - coming across them in the future will be wonderful!

Hey! That budget does not include wifi or a cell phone! LOL :)

I really like Cee Lo Green. Have you heard "Bright Lights Bigger City"?

I often get songs stuck in my head during runs, especially since I don't run with music. So once a song gets stuck in there ... it's stuck. I can't even remember what songs though. I know Kesha, and Call Me Maybe. And it's not even the whole song, it's usually just like one verse or the refrain.
