What I Ate Wednesday

I haven't done one of these in a while, and it's been a busy week, so here's what ya get, Internet.
Today was one of my "later" days: I got up at 6 and headed to the gym for some treadmill speedwork and core exercises. I did 3.6 miles in 30 minutes, switching between a 9:05 and 7:53 mile for varying intervals. I was sweaty and flushed.
By the time I was showered and dressed, I was famished. I knew I had a while before I could get to the office for breakfast, especially since I had to stop at the store for pantyhose ... argh. I stopped at Protein Bar and tried the FitMint Shake. It's like a shamrock shake, but not a million calories. For 90 calories, you get 13 grams of protein. Plus, it tastes like dessert. Get in my belly.
When I finally got to my desk, I had the same breakfast I have almost every day: some kind of toasted carb topped with natural peanut butter, chia seeds, salt and a banana. Today, it was a light whole wheat English muffin. Why with salt? Maybe it's because I sweat a ton when I workout, but it just tastes good to me.
Not pictured: an apple and two cups of coffee with coconut creamer. I know that Sierra is a huge fan of the stuff, but I wish it tasted more like coconut. Oh well. I had a client meeting today and grabbed Zoup for lunch. I had the hearty vegetable bean soup, a sourdough roll and the American salad. I wish the salad was bigger. It was like a salad for ants
Not pictured: like four of those cuties.  Yeah, no wonder they're for kids, they're the size of a walnut. Once home, I was hungry.  I'm trying to clean out the freezer because we're buying a share of grass-fed beef and I have no idea how much space that will take up. Dinner was a selection of my favorite Weight Watchers foods: a salmon burger grilled on the George Foreman grill with spicy mustard on top and a side of assorted frozen veggies.  I also had tortilla chips and grapes while I cooked (trying to use up leftovers).
What's your go-to snack right now? I need more ideas!
