Take Time Tuesday

Live Half Full
When I finally met Kate of Live Half Full last weekend at the Chicago Blogger Workshop, she mentioned her blog link project she's calling Take Time Tuesday. It's an opportunity to take a few minutes every week to be grateful for a few things in your life. She encouraged me to participate, so here we are.

This week, I'm grateful for my mom, who cooked a delicious Easter ham dinner for us this weekend. It was awesome to see her again last night for our chocolate-making workshop. I'm thankful that she shared her chocolate with me and bought me Panera for dinner, too.

I'm also thankful for my siblings, even though one of them, who shall remain unnamed, shoved me into a planter during our family's Easter egg hunt on Sunday.  This egg hunt is serious business: my mom filled eggs with cash and Tim hid them throughout my parents' yard. I'm not sure why he isn't interested in participating - yeah, we're pushing 30 and all, but it's cash money! We did this egg hunt last year, too, and I think said unnamed sister gathered more eggs then as well.
I am also thankful for my patient husband who does things like hide plastic eggs in my parents yard, takes the puppy to the groomer and conspires with me to make Napoleon look ridiculous.
What are you thankful for this week?
