Take Time Tuesday

Live Half Full
Ugh, the car is broken again. I left work yesterday feeling lovely and ready to spend the evening doing productive things. I started my car and it sounded like an episode of Sons of Anarchy. Suffice it to say, I did not drive home. I drove to the closest auto repair place and left it there, as my car also stunk of gas and I couldn't hear myself think over the sound of the engine. Not cute.
So let me redirect my emotions today and say I'm thankful that Tim wasn't in class and could come and pick me up.

I'm thankful for the random guerrilla sales people passing out chocolate in Lincoln Park Sunday.
Also, I'm thankful that my baby sister can hold her liquor better than I can. Wine Riot showed I cannot be trusted with unlimited anything.
Sisters, plus an honorary Mahoney girl
I'm thankful for these awesome photos from Wine Riot.
I'm thankful for the Fort2Base Race ambassadors, many of whom met me for dinner Sunday and a strategy session. Nicole, who wrote about her half Ironman journey for my blog, brought her little one and we talked triathlon shop. It's going to be a great year!

Is it bad that I'm more annoyed I'm missing workouts than that my car might have to meet its maker?

I met Nicole yesterday, loved her! Thanks for linking up! Crossing my fingers that your car thief gets his karma! ;)

I am sorry to hear about your car. I should give you my number in case you need a ride. After all I am pretty close to your work.
