Three Things Thursday

1. Last night, we celebrated Kim's birthday and the fact that she passed her personal trainer certification.  I'm so proud of her! It was great to see all the blogging ladies, too. I ate way too much and stayed out past my bedtime, bit c'est la vie. Worth it.

2. I figured one good triathlon deserved another. Katie is going to do her first tri at the Last Try Triathlon Oct. 5 in Benton, Ill. I signed up for the Olympic-distance tri and will be bunking up with my favorite race director.

 3. I made this lemon rosemary crockpot chicken for MacKenna and I earlier this week and it's too easy to get its own post.  You just sliced two lemons and cut two heads of garlic in half. Put one of each inside a rinsed and dried chicken, along with a spring of rosemary. Place the rest of the cut up stuff and another two springs of rosemary at the bottom of a slow cooker. Chicken goes on top of the bed of ingredients and cooks on low for eight hours. It comes out pretty impressive looking, too.

Yay for doing another triathlon! Mike and I registered for a sprint at the end of this month, not too long after we did Musselman :)

It was fun to finally hang out with you the other night - thank goodness Kim had a birthday for us all to celebrate :)

Thank you so much for coming and all your support and encouragement while I was studying. It meant a lot to me.

Yay for another tri! Do you think that will be your last of the year? Or will there be more?

I'm not sure if it will be my last this season. I'm mulling over adding one more to my schedule because I feel really good.
