Three Things Thursday

1. Despite the decadence of Thanksgiving coupled with Alyssa's Iowa wedding extravaganza (the cake had the perfect icing to cake ratio, btw), I'm pleased as punch that I've lost two pounds. Turns out not drinking multiple beers per night and getting my ass on the treadmill is working.
Typical Weight Watchers breakfast
2. Speaking of which, my post yesterday about my pain cave inspired me to get my butt back on my bike. I did 20 miles in 55ish minutes, adding three rounds of tabata intervals. I forgot how tough it was, and seriously wonder how I managed to sit in that saddle for 6+ hours during Ironman Wisconsin. I am sore today.
Last time I was on my bike was ... Sept, 9

3. Last night, I went to Sky Zone Elmhurst for a little blogger perk event. It was a blast - I wish I was 10 again and my parents would let me have a birthday party. I need to go back for their fitness classes. Anything for crosstraining, right?

haha, yeah... reducing alcohol consumption + increasing treadmill time = wt loss. it's an equation i wish i could find a way around too :)

Congrats on the weight loss girl- super impressive! I plan to do WW again too after baby...would love to see more of the meals you eat-- helps me think of some variety because I was getting in a rut with the same stuff wa waaa!

I've tried the Sky Zone classes (in Indiana), and they are a lot of fun! I'm not sure I'd do them on a regular basis but it's nice to throw in the mix or go with friends.
