Dear Kelly,

Your bike is very nice indeed and I really wish I had one.

Can you please experiment with some gluten free options for Italian cuisine and then make Tim eat them without telling him they are gluten free? I ask because I need to find something that tastes so similar to regular pasta that even a regular person would not know the difference.

Thank you for your considerations.

I'm on it. They make quinoa pasta, rice pasta and shitake noodles, so I'll give it a try.

They also make corn pasta which is ok, but very fragile.

In payment, I give you this video:

I need fruit type smoothie recipies that the whole family will love. Any direction? HELP!

Sure! Will your kids eat something that looks green? If color isn't an issue, I'd go with my green monster smoothie favorite, which for one is:
1/2 banana
3 frozen strawberries
3 ounces orange juice
1 cup ice
1 cup baby spinach

It tastes solely like fruit, but if they're not down with the green stuff, omit the spinach and increase the strawberry count and add frozen raspberries, if you have it. Sure to please.

Miss Kelly,

I want to try Once a Month freezer cooking - you know, like you spend a few hours chopping, mixing, bagging, labeling, and then you have a whole bunch of stuff that you throw together for easy meals later. Trick is to get filling, tasty and not-fatty-bo-batty.

Wanna help me figure some stuff out? Have some ideas? We can try it at my house.

Thoughts?

I'm all about it. We should have a freezer cooking day. I'll investigate some recipes and let you know.

Kelly, We leave to go to Hardrock Saturday morning. I am worried as we are taking my elder parents and 2 kids…. Unfortuntately, we did not get the deal you did as we are paying over $20K for a vacation for 7. Do you think we should try and switch resorts? Will the ocean be an issue for fun activities for 9 and 13 year old? We already learned teen club won't be ready…Thanks for any advice!

I'm not sure how I would feel paying full price, but it was perfect for us. We had a lot of fun and used those resort credits for all they're worth. The spa was just reopening the day we left and they were working on the lobby as well. If you're staying on the Hacienda side, it's basically finished there.
