Hey, I saw you at the April Fool's 5k last weekend and I noticed your web address for your blog on your shirt. (I started near the front and was wearing a very orange shirt.) It is inspiring to hear your story, and to realize that I am in a similar place. I started running about 3 and 1/2 years ago and was about 240 pounds, now I am around 200 and just got my first age group medal at last week's 5k. We have also done a couple of the same races (Lululemon 5k, Beverly Hills Turkey Trot) and I am signed up to do the Aurora Fox Valley Trail Half as well. My wife and I both enjoy running, tris and eating a lot, so it is interesting to see all of your posts. Keep up the good work. I will definitely be back for more (double meaning implied).

Thank you for your comment, William, it made my day!

I'm glad the shirt worked and I'll see you in Aurora. I'll be sure to wear my blog address again so you can spot me.
