December to Remember Giveaway: Fit 4 Life Virtual Race Series Entry



Wow, this is an awesome prize!  As part of my December to Remember Giveaway series, I gleefully present you with the second prize. Jim has offered an entry into three of his Fit 4 Life Virtual Races series, valued at $80.  Here's the info:

"We are offering 3 different 5K’s run over 3 different months. The New Year’s Rock’n 5K from December 30 – January 2. The Valentines Day Love of the Run 5K from February 13 to February 16 and the Run, Rock, Shamrock 5K from March 17 – March 20. Every runner or walker will receive a race shirt prior to the race a custom finishers medal after the races.
We are giving away over $10,000 in cash and prizes to everyone who is registered for the events. The only way to win is to register. Run by yourself or with a group. What’s even more exciting is our charity efforts. We have 4 great charities that we are raising money for. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The American Red Cross, The National Stroke Association and The Dick Beardsley Foundation. Each one of these charities holds a very special place in a lot of people’s hearts and it is an honor to be able to give back and help support each organization in their life saving efforts."

To just finish races lol. Only Halfs no full's. Maybe that race in Peoria but definitely the new half in Naperville!

My goal is to run a race a month and finish the Disney princess half in under 3 hours. Then i will set a new goal for my next half marathon in may.

I MAY be contemplating a marathon for 2013. And perhaps Ragnar. Basically, though, just seeing what I can do without aggravating any injuries!
