We're just a few days away from the
Ragnar Relay Chicago, which starts Friday morning in Madison and ends sometime Saturday in downtown Chicago. I'm taking both Thursday and Friday off of work for this event, and I'm very grateful that my employer supports me in this endeavor.

Additionally, our team captain and logistics guru Kate deserves a huge shout out. She's been keeping us on the straight and narrow, organizing hotels, vans, snacks and outfits. It's with her organizing prowess that we'll be able to pull this off without leaving someone on a farm in rural Wisconsin in the middle of the night.
Plus, we couldn't do this without volunteers. My dear friends Rachael, Brian and Jenny will be at the finish line Saturday so our team doesn't get disqualified or charged for not having volunteers. I owe these guys
cookies, big time.
Finally, our super awesome sponsors are keeping us well-clothed, fed and funded throughout this weekend. We are all very appreciative of their investment in the running community and helping to empowering this spunky team of lady runners. Our sponsors include:

THANK YOU to all the people and organizations who are making this race possible. Follow all the fun this weekend using hashtag #AmericanSweatHearts on
Instagram and
Twitter. And wish us luck, because I'm going to need it!

Good luck staying prepped for the final days before the relay! Great sponsors there. I like that your doggie made his way into a photo! he has to do at least 1km!
So cool you have all of these great sponsors. I am kind of jealous! :-) You will have a blast! I'll be volunteering on Saturday morning at Exchange 35 which is at Northwestern University.
looks like a great time! You have some great sponsors.
