My dad, who is clearly gunning for canonization and Iron Dad of the Year, was a great race sherpa, chauffeur, gear hauler and water bottle retriever this weekend. He also took photos, told me my splits and yelled at me when I swam off course. All around rockstar, really. He also snapped a few photos and a video, which is great, because the
3 Disciplines Festival of Races 70.3 Triathlon was pretty low-key and didn't have a photographer. Here are his masterpieces:
Waiting in line for the time trial start
And I'm off!
I'm moving so fast on the bike portion that I'm just a blur
Here's a video of my finish - I'm saying "Did I make it?" to my dad because the clock was based on the first guy in the water
And my proud finish!
Thank you to my family for their work this weekend. I truly appreciate everything you've done for me.
