2. My second batch of kombucha is brewing as I type! I'm attending the Chicago Food Swap in two weeks and this is what I'm bringing, so I'm perfecting my method. Is it weird that I'm super nervous for the swap? What if people don't like my goodies? Gah, this is the same feeling I get around the holidays because I'm concerned people won't like my gifts.
3. I'm taking myself to a sports medicine doctor tomorrow. The pain behind my knee that I first felt during the Udder Century Ride is back and now features heel numbness as well. I found a place that takes my insurance that's nearby, so we'll see how it goes.

Oh no I hope you get the knee pain taken care of!
Napoleon is so cute, I'm surprised he isn't a lap dog! I wish our dog was more of a cuddler but he isn't, though at 70+ pounds he can't really be a lap dog.
Oooh you get massages at work? That sounds fantastic! I need to arrange one for my office someday.
I hope your knee feels better!
I would love to start making my own Kombucha at home. Is it super time consuming and messy? Also, can you make it without the added sugar? I don't eat sugar (in any form other than fruit juice sweetened things). Just curious. Those bottles at Whole Foods get super expensive fast!
It is kind of messy, but totally worth it in my opinion. I'm working on a how-to post that I'll share shortly. Kombucha is like $3 a bottle and I can make it for less than $.50 a batch. That's a no brainer.
I hope your knee and heel feel better!
