Three Things Thursday

1. I ordered my first Road ID this week with considerable difficulty. It's tough to commit to what to engrave on the thing because it feels so permanent. I got my name, Tim's number and my parents' number. I tried to get #ironbitch on it, but they wouldn't print it. Something about morals and me being uncouth or whatever ... so I'm getting it without. I'm still #ironbitch in my heart, though.
2. Last night, I went to a Yelp Elite gathering at RA Sushi. The food was excellent - the Las Vegas Roll (the one with the fried lotus root on top) was so delicious, as was the crunchy tuna roll. I had a frozen bellini that was sweet and tart at the same time, but the cucumber margarita is where it's at. Delicious all around.
3. I'm still enjoying our Giovanni Rana pasta. This week, I decided to try something I found on Pinterest (a rare feat here) and it was awesome. All you do is layer marinara sauce, uncooked ravioli, a but more sauce and mozarella, then bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. It's like a lasagna without all the work.

Considering how swearing is so rampant on tv I am surprised that they held out on that one.

The ravioli lasagna is a great idea! I made lasagna last weekend and I made a half pan version and I ate it all week. Now I probably won't eat lasagna for 6 months. :)

Wow, I'm surprised that they wouldn't like you put that one there... hmm, interesting!

I'm glad you got a RoadID though, I wear mine all the time!

Pinterest recipes can be so hit or miss, that one looks delicious. And leftover pasta usually tastes better than the first time around for me???

You'll always be ironbitch in my heart.

I really need to be better about using my road ID. It's not very useful when it's sitting at home.
