2. I am all signed up for the Tower Tri in Niles, my first triathlon. I am more than a little terrified, and it doesn't help that I haven't found my bike yet. Know anyone selling a nice, reasonably priced road bike?
3. It took me almost two hours to get home today. I live 10 miles from where I work. It snowed six inches in four hours.

5. My motivation to finish Insanity is seriously waning. Tonight, I did tabata intervals on the elliptical while watching Mad Men. It was all I could muster.

Ugh! I am sorry you were stuck out in the snow! They let everyone in my office go home early, but I was working from home... so I had to work the normal hours.
Your scale pic contradicts what you are saying about your weight! Have you noticed any other difference, like your clothes being more loose? Do you think you are gaining muscle? What are your ideas?
Uh oh! I hope your furnace gets its butt in gear.
I really wanted to do a triathlon this year but I don't know if it's going to happen. I bought my bike from Johnny Sprockets in 2010. It's an entry level road bike but still cost around $700! Do any of your running friends have a bike sitting around their not using?
@Kilax, I figure fake it 'til you make it, right? :)
I haven't really noticed any changed, but oh well.
@Erin, I'd love to borrow a bike to try it out first, but I don't know anyone who does tris. Sad face.
