Take Time Tuesday

I'm getting ready to leave town again, so I'm in the midst of chaos. But it's chaos I created, and it's good to be busy.

I'm thankful to have a trustworthy dog minder for the furface this weekend.

I'm thankful for a holiday to get away, and miles to make it work. I'm thankful for social media, too, because I've already gotten the inside track of what to expect from our hotel - the pool is closed! But they suggested a good alternative so I can get in my training. I also tweeted a baller bakery that I can't wait to try to ensure they have my favorite treat.

I'm also thankful for the mild summer we're having, which means I have yet to water my garden.  And yet, the salad fixings keep coming!

I'm also thankful for Yelp Elite, which invited me to a great party last week at Nu Crepes. I've been dreaming of their chorizo crepe, and the G-thang crepe was the best dessert I've ever tasted. It was a crepe overflowing with every fabulous sweet treat I could imagine - pretzels, white chocolate chips, peanut butter and caramel. It was amazing.


The clincher? I've been invited to another Yelp party next week! If you haven't read my post about how to get invited to Yelp parties, I suggest you put it at the top of your reading list now because the Yelp life is fantastic.
