Win it Wednesday: AmLactin Gift Basket

If you're a regular reader of my little corner of the Internet, you've heard me wax poetic about AmLactin before. The company sent me a sample last month and I am hooked. Between the chalk I put on my hands for CrossFit and the outdoor running during this super harsh winter, my skin is trashed. My hands were so dry they hurt before AmLactin.

What I like about this lotion is that while it's thick, it absorbs quickly without being greasy, so I can use it at work without screwing up my computer. I have since been told the alpha hydroxy formula exfoliates away the nasty bits of dry skin so that you're not just hydrating the top layers, but removing the super rough parts of your skin over time. But I'm firmly in the "I don't care how I'm just glad it works" camp. Since we're in the midst of the worst winter ever on record in Chicago, it was quite fortuitous that I found this when I did.

If you want to get to the business of obliterating all your dry skin, AmLactin has generously agreed to hook you up with a super smooth (I had to throw that pun in here somewhere) gift basket of goodies. Enter using the Rafflecopter below and it will select one winner at random next week. The winner will get hooked up with the prize pack pictured, which contains 1) One full-size AmLactin Ultra (4.9 oz tube), One (1) full-size AmLactin Foot Cream (3 oz.), One (1) travel-sized AmLactin Ultra (1 oz.), One (1) travel-sized AmLactin Moisturizing Body Lotion (2 oz).

Good luck!

I use lotion lotion and more lotion in the winter. I hate the feeling of dry skin!

I have to slather on a ton of lotion after I get out of the shower to make sure my skin doesn't dry out. I'm so sick of this dry winter weather; I'm ready for things to get warmer! I'm glad you found something to help you out with your winter skin dryness!

I'm really bad at doing anything for skincare, so I don't really treat myself, which is why I this basket would be good for me.

I love Trader Joe's Midsummer Night's Cream. I slather that all over after I get out of the shower. And use a loofah.

I'm using coconut oil as my night cream now.... there is a definite difference in my face's texture and color (brighter in a good way!)

I use lotion twice a day (morning and night) and my skin is still super dry. I need to find a different brand for sure...or I have heard good things about coconut oil..

On your recommendation, I'm using this lotion for the past few days. So far, so good. It's a bit soon for a proper review, but I am hopeful! My feet are looking especially good since I'm using the foot cream, too. If you ever saw my feet, that's really saying something!

Thanks!

I'm always on the hunt for some good lotion, especially for my feet.

I try to drink plenty of water in the winter and exfoliate regularly. Once my skin gets too dry it takes forever to recover so I try to prevent it from getting that bad!

I don't really use much of anything for skincare. I will throw on some random lotion sometimes but I really need something better. This winter has been rough!

This winter has been brutal on the hands. I've been using Carmex lotion but then I smell like old people.

I acutally use chapstick this winter (that never happens) and just whatever lotion I find lying around the house

I have dry skin year round, and have never found something that isn't crazy expensive e and actually gives me relief! Stupid polar vortex.

I get crazy dry skin all year round, and have never found anything reasonable and soothing that isn't greasy too. Now this winter! Curse you, polar vortex!
