Mandy and I stayed at her apartment last night and got up incredibly early to get dolled up for the occasion. No blogger-attended event is complete without a few selfies, right?
We found our parents, our seats and Katie's name in the program.
Then waited for the big moment!
Before ensuring we commemorated the moment for future generations.
I am so very proud of Katie for her accomplishments. It's crazy to think she walked across the stage today with a biology degree from one of the best schools in the country - it seems like not that long ago we were putting her on the school bus with her doll Molly and watching her lead the line for the holiday pageant because she was the shortest kindergartener. Today she's a fully formed adult (who is taller than me), ready to take on the world. I'm so excited for all the possibilities and opportunities her future holds. This kid is going places, and I'm honored to be related to her.
