Ladies Night at Village CycleSport

The only thing better than shopping for new tri gear is doing it at a discount ... with beer and pizza. My partner in crime, Alyssa, let me know about the second-annual ladies night at Village CycleSport in Elk Grove Village. We RSVPed and showed up to quite the party.

First, we picked up our goody bags

Grabbed pizza, beer and a TON of desserts (I cannot be trusted when brownies, cookie bars and rice krispie treats are all available in spades)

And took a seat for a few presentations about different types of bike, how to cycle year round, what it's like to bike in groups and how cyclocross works.

Then we got onto the buying portion of the night. I finally got the super sweet front hydration system I've been eyeing since I brought home Suzie Slice, along with salted caramel Gu and Hammer Perpeteum solids, all at a discount. I was going to buy the stuff already, so it was nice to have a discount and get dinner out of it too. Now to install the damn thing ....
